A memorable week filled with adventures for all senses!
What to expect
This week is for everyone who enjoys adventurous outdoor activities, appreciates community, and isn’t afraid to delve into deeper questions about life. We all go through different phases; sometimes it feels like we’ve just reached a summit, other times we find ourselves in a deep valley, struggling to maintain our focus and joy for life. Both seem to be part of life, but how can we better learn to cope with difficulties? Is there an inner peace that defies all adversity, and a confidence and hope that is independent of life’s circumstances?
During these 10 days, our guest speakers Paul and Ramona DeCock from Northern Ireland will enrich our time with their encouraging and authentic personalities, sharing inspiring biblical insights, usually through a morning devotion and an interactive session on our outdoor adventures. The daily program offers a wide range of fun activities, including hiking, via ferrata, funyaking, high ropes courses, climbing, bivouacking, and lake kayaking. Relaxing moments, such as walks through historic villages, a refreshing dip in the Inn River, or a leisurely coffee in the village bakery, will provide a good balance. Evenings are reserved for community time with singing, sharing, playing games and just to hang out together.
It’s very helpful if you have a reasonable level of fitness and are comfortable hiking for 4-6 hours in the mountains. Some of the more adventurous activities are optional, so on some days we may split into two groups depending on interest.
