PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

16.-20.Okt. 2024

Dive into the world of photography for a few days, enjoy the beautiful autumnal Lower Engadin Valley and refocus on the creator of all things

What to expect

A weekend for all camera enthusiasts who like to become more aware of what makes an expressive picture and who love the great outdoors!
Regardless of whether you describe yourself as a newcomer, advanced, ambitious or very experienced, everyone who enjoys photography is welcome! I (Lukas Brunner) will lead the workshop and I am also looking forward to the inputs of your experiences on the various topics. I’m not a “professional” myself, but a versatile and enthusiastic amateur photographer who likes to pass on the knowledge I’ve acquired and I’m always eager to learn new things myself.
The beautiful autumnal Lower Engadin Valley offers the ideal backdrop for this!
In addition to taking photos, we will also align ourselves with our Creator, who has everything “in the picture” during short morning devotions and an input/sharing time in the evening.

The photo workshop will consist of smaller theory sessions and lots of practicing!
The theory sessions deal with both the technical and the artistic side of photography. Depending on the interest and level of the participants, we will go more or less into depth on the various topics.

Workshop content

  • Basics on shutter speeds, aperture and ISO settings and lens focal lengths
  • Understand your camera
  • Composition
  • Playing with the light
  • Basics and various techniques for: landscape, animals, people, close-ups, night shots, studio shots
  • Image editing (very limited)

The weekend will be in German and English if required with a maximum of 8 participants.
